AcademicInfo is an online education resource center with extensive subject guides and distance learning information. Our mission is to provide free, independent and accurate information and resources for prospective and current students (and other researchers).

Career Voyages

This website was established as a joint effort between the Department of Education and the Department of Labor. It provides detailed information about the fastest growing industries and occupations, the skills and education required to prepare for them, job openings by area and wages. The website not only provides information on career paths requiring four-year degrees but also provides information on career opportunities requiring on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs for skilled trades, vocational certificates and two-year professional degree programs at community colleges that can all lead to promising careers.

Common Application

The Common Application is a not-for-profit organization that serves students and member institutions by providing an admission application--online and in print--that students may submit to any of our nearly 300 members.  Membership is limited to colleges and universities that evaluate students using a holistic selection process.  Since the founding over 30 years ago they have been committed to maintaining a reliable service while promoting equity, access, and integrity in the college application process.

The Web site for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  This form must be submitted in the senior year (after January 1) for families applying for need-based aid.  Students may complete it electronically on the site.

Donations of 20 grains of rice are made to needy people for every correct answer.  (Word is, the site is addicting!)

LiveAbove.com

LiveAbove.com is an outreach of the Youth Transition Network:  a coalition of youth, college and military ministries that are working together to transition students.  This ministry was developed out of a deep concern for the startling  numbers of young men and women who fall away or ignore their spiritual life after high school.  Youth Transition Network is focused on combating the spiritual loss of youth by helping motivate, prepare, and transition our next generation of leaders in the next phase of their spiritual journey on a college campus, in a career, or on a military base.


NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse

All college-bound student-athletes who wish to practice and compete at a division I or II institution must register with the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse.  The Clearinghouse will determine a student's eligibility by reviewing an official high school transcript and the official SAT/ACT score.

Youth Transition Network

Youth Transition Network is a coalition of our nation's largest denominations, youth, college and military career ministries working together to prepare, motivate and connect students to their next spiritual home, prior to high school graduation.  YTN's purpose statement is:
