BristolCommunity College Presidential Scholars Program
A selective program for high-achieving students who plan to enroll at BCC and transfer to competitive four-year institutions.The scholarship will cover half the tuition and fees for full-time students.In addition, the Director of Transfer Affairs will work with each Presidential Scholar to personalize his or her transfer college search.Students can take advantage of transfer articulation agreements with 19 colleges and universities including Art Institute of Boston, Bryant University, Roger Williams University, Salve Regina University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute or transfer to other colleges/universities of the student’s choice. Up to $1,500 per year for each of four years for students who enroll as Chemistry or General Science majors and plan to teach science at the K-12 level following graduation
Worcester Polytechnic Institute will award up to 10 Foisie Scholars for the Fall 2009. Each scholar will receive a four-year, full tuition scholarship and a one-time $5,000 allowance to be used for a WPI Global Studies experience. This special new program is made possible through the vision and generosity of Robert and Janet Foisie.
